Behind the Stories: COVID-19 for The Globe and Mail
For this piece, we worked with the team at the Globe & Mail to highlight the crucial role of their newsroom in covering the COVID-19 pandemic. We conducted remote interviews with key journalists, including award-winning health reporter and columnist André Picard, European bureau chief Eric Reguly, and national health reporter Kelly Grant, who reported on the Pinecrest Nursing Home outbreaks.
With a presentation by deputy national editor Nicole MacIntyre and a variety of visual assets taken from the journal’s coverage of the pandemic, the piece aims to go beyond simply recounting news stories, instead elucidating some of the mechanics of journalism at The Globe and Mail.
